Formerly the site of the village tithebarn, then a ninteenth century brewery and farm, before its pressent role as Brewery Motors on Churton Road

Although Bridge House is of early 19thc Georgian origin, its history is inextricably linked with that of The Picture Palace, the cinema that once operated within its out-buildings, while the owner and family resided in the house.
